let's BACKTRACK

Yet again, I forgot where, so I can’t give credit. Some expirimenting with light and textures. Enjoy~!

(and yeah, Earth Day was awhile ago. Oh well.)

So it’s another three day weekend and I’m bored. So I decided to start iconing again! I got about 30 done in about two days, most of which I am very proud of. As always, they can be found at Celea. My favourites would be:

On Saturday, we had this mandatory track practice. We could either go at 6 or at 9, and I chose to go at 6. All we did was run a few hurdles then run 6 150’s. It wouldn’t have been so hard if it wasn’t  FREEZING COLD. I was serisouly so cold, I couldn’t even lift my feet up. I was literally dragging my feet during the warm up because it was so cold. The 150’s was even worse. I was running with Xiomara and Felicia, so I had to run faster even though at that point, I couldn’t feel my feet. It was worth waking up so early though. The sky was very pretty as the sun was coming up. I feel like painting it sometime, but I’m way too lazy. Even though it was so hard to run, no one fell that day, so it’s all good. However, I did get a big scratch on my thigh as I just walked over my last hurdle. It hurts so much when I sit. >:[ After that, Sarena, Steven, Kyle, Morgen, and I went to iHOP! I got stuck in the middle in the back next to Kyle and Morgen, and it was so squished. D: They also put the hood down (Morgen almost got his finger amputated as we were trying to figure out how to do this by the way) so I couldn’t see anything because my hair got in the way. It was my first time going there, and the food was delicious. I had Strawberry Banana French Toast, and I actually finished them! There were 6 triangles. Man, I miss HK style french toast. After we finished that, we hung out at Sarena’s house and watched this show called Ninja Warrior. It is so entertaining and stupid at the same time. It’s just a whole bunch of macho guys, transexuals, and weirdos trying to test their strength by going through this obstacle course. It’s so funny when they fall in the water, XD. We ended up staying there till 12, by which Sarena and I were falling asleep already. We called Derek to go play Rock Band, but then canceled to go home. As an added note, April did not remember me! I’m surprised. :[ So that’s about the most exciting part of my weekend.

Then there’s Monday (about 3 hours away). The time of year when I start to feel older than I already am and I want to be a little kid again. Yes, my birthday. I’m not even close to thirty and I’m already dreading my birthday! Yay me? My birthday this year will be as boring as always. I turned down my mom’s proposal of a birthday, so I’ll just be sitting around as always. Fun, no? I might go out, but I’ll probably be too lazy to. All I want right now is a dark chocolate cake with mangoes. Oh yes, so delicious. D: As for presents, I really don’t know what I’m getting. My mom asked me what I wanted, but I really don’t know. If I really could have anything in the world, I’d ask for more sleeping time and perhaps something to stop me from procrasination. But yeah right, like that would ever happen! That’s about all I’ll write for today. I feel like starting my history and bio reviews.

So yes, as you can probably tell, I have a new header, this time, featuring the one and only Kamenashi Kazuya. The scan was from kinoko@LJ, and you can find it under the DUET February 2008 Scans post under the KAT-TUN section of course. Once I saw that picture of Kame and his cute glasses, I knew I had to make a layout for him. Not to mention the nerdiness of the picture matched my name. ;D Anyways, I had started out with a L’Arc~en~Ciel layout, but the scans for the new KISS album weren’t big enough for me to do anything creative, so I switched it when I downloaded all the scans. It took me maybe two hours to get the look and colours I wanted and I still think the colours are kind of funky, but Michelle said they were catchy, so I’ll go with whatever she says. Comments and criticisms appreciated <3

The next layout will probably be of One Pound Gospel since Yamada is in there ;DD There were a few pages of scans with the two of them, but they were a bit off and I couldn’t use them. :[[

Oh gosh, I feel like such a weirdo, writing about my first math quiz, but if I don’t write it down here, I’ll probably yell at myself all night and not get any sleep. Did I mention I’m very obsessive over my grades? So today, we took our first math quiz. It was SO EASY. Even an idiot could do it without problem, but I totally messed it up. I forgot how to do the notations and probably did all those wrong (2 problems) and messed up on another domain problem. So what’s that? 3/5 wrong, which is pretty much an F——. I hope I do better on the next one. I hope.

I also got the chance to see epsiode 10 of Hana-kimi today! Only RAWS though, sorry! I was expecting way more from this episode. I mean, there’s only 3 left! There was way too much comic relief and not enough tense moments. The highlights of this episode can be summarized to be: Mizuki holding Sano’s hand, thinking she hurt it and the two smiling at each other, Mizuki and Nakatsu dancing, Mizuki and Sano yelling at each other, and Sano touching Mizuki’s breast on accident. The last one was pretty funny, but I don’t want to spoil too much, so go watch it yourself! The preview shows Sano and Mizuki, shoulder to shoulder, walking and laughing. That part kind of confused me. So they just had a big fight, they made up and are best friends/lovers? D: I hope he confesses to her soon, because the suspense is killing me (not literally). I also heard on LJ that episode 13 or 12 was going to be a 2 hour long episode. Say what?! I’m excited too. I wonder how they’ll pack all the drama in there?

That reminds me, I had such an interesting converstation with Irene, this friend of mines, about Hana-kimi yesterday. Like I posted before, I made a new Oguri AIM icon and she noticed it and remarked he looked familiar. So I sent her lists of all the movies and dramas he was in, and she said something along the lines of “Oh! he’s from Hana-kimi, that’s where I know him from!” I had no idea she watched this drama too, and the taiwanese one as well! It was a very fangirlish conversation, so looking back, it was HILARIOUS to look at. While we were talking about Nakatsu, she also kept spelling his name “Natasku”. I found that to be pretty funny. Okay, that’s all for now, I really have to study. I’ve procrasinated for 4 hours now, catching up with Bleach and Claymore.
