Great Teacher Onizuka Episode 10
So this episode is about Onizuka having to take a placement test in order to prove he is a capable teacher. The Head Teacher said that it was because of parent complaints, but in reality, it’s just a scheme to get him ousted from the school. In order to pass, he has to get a score of 400 or higher, and the average is 350. Unfortunately for him, he can only get a 100. In order to keep him at the school, class 2-4 breaks in the school at night in order to steal the test scores for him to memorize. At first, a physical break in doesn’t work, so Kukichi tries to hack into the computer database but is blocked by the creepy stalker teacher. Of course, all five of them are caught and are given a warning that if they don’t stop meddling, they’ll all be expelled. In order to properly study for the test, Fuyutsuki asks Onizuka to study at her house. He can’t concentrate, thinking about having sex with her. In order to have sex with her, he had to go get his “special” condoms, and back at his house, he ran into the head teacher. I didn’t really get why the head teacher and his family were still there. Did they bring their luggage or what?
In the previous episode (that made me cry! >:[), Tomoko finally went to Okinawa, while Miyabi ran into someone who looked like her long-gone boyfriend, Takeshi, named Toudo. I have a really bad feeling about this kid. When he was taking a phone call, he mentioned something about a game beginning. His meeting her was probably something a rival of hers created in order to get her back for something. After watching a little more (I type as I watch), a Cinderella game is mentioned. It’s probably something the guys at the school do to pass time, making fun of girls probably. —> After watching more, that’s a pretty sick game. Hunting her, beating up Murai. These kids got their lesson! I also feel bad for Miyabi. She was actually happy for awhile, but had her dreams crushed right in front of her face. At least she’ll go back to school now. I guess that’s the more important thing. —> Watching the end, that Toudo kid is dirty, drawing a knife and hurting Onizuka! Why didn’t he say anything about it? I think that’s just crapped up. Now I’m even madder at the Head Teacher for being such an ass and coming up with these dirty tricks to make him quit.
In this episode, I feel really bad for Murai. He cares deeply of Miyabi and must be heartbroken at the fact that she still can’t get over Takeshi and is dating his guy because he looks like him. And even though he knows she doesn’t have feelings for him, he watches over her in his own time just to make sure she’s safe. He even ran into a group of guys, blindly just to try to save her. Now that’s real courage.
I found this to be such a funny episode, I really don’t know why. Seeing the students break in, especially Kuckichi, and failing just reminded me of how stubborn and funny the teachers are. They’re really determined to kick Onizuka out, no matter what they have to sacrifice themselves.
I noticed this just now, but the kid that was abused by Miyabi and stripped in front of the students in order to show them his bruises, called Noboru, looks a lot like Oguri Shun. So I went o Wikipedia and looked it up, and he did indeed play the part! Wow am I stupid. ;D Reading Wiki, he was 17 when he played the part. He does NOT look 17. He looks more like a 12 year old.
Another thing I noticed, Fuyutsuki’s name is consisted of Fuyu (meaning winter) and Tsuki (meaning moon). Her first name also happens to be Azusa, a street name! Man is her name messed up.
Great Teacher Onizuka
So I got bored and started another drama series! Yay me? Okay, so this one is titled, Great Teacher Onizuka. As some of you may know, there was a manga series by the same name, shortened to GTO. The whole series is about a man named Eikichi Onizuka who doesn’t know what he wants out of life, but found himself to be a teacher. He’s not well educated, leader of a bike gang, and is a karate expert, but he was still hired by a strange director. The head teacher, whom he had a quarrel with, is always trying to get him fired and no matter what he does, still views him as trash.
While trying to enjoy his time at the high school, Onizuka must also deal with this unruly Class 2-4. All the students have some sort of hatred toward teachers except two who are picked on. Thus far, they have replaced two of their homeroom teachers and are looking to oust Onizuka as well. One by one, the problem students are converted to cheerful, happy ones that are trying to save Onizuka’s career.
This series has a lot of great morals and advice. At the same time, it’s also very funny and deals with many problems that all teens have today. There’s the student who was blessed with a wealthy household, but her family doesn’t care for each other. There’s the student who is just working towards college and does not enjoy what he has today. There is also a student who is afraid to speak out, but finds his voice and speaks out. One has to speak for themselves and try to find themselves. It does not matter if they once strayed from the wrong path, they can always get on the right one if they just tried. Onizuka himself is a living, breathing proof of that. He was rebellious as the students were in highschool, but he still managed to find himself a job that he enjoys wholeheartedly. If you are or are not one of these problem children, I recommend you watch this series. It will really inspire you to try many things you never have before.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Episode 9
I watched episode 9 yesterday, but forgot to post! It was way too exciting to watch and post at the same time as I usually do. The episode reached one of my expectations (see episode 8 post) but other than that, it was a tad bit boring.
The male teacher that usually teaches the class suddenly left on maternity leave and the class was left with a very mean substitute named Kitahama. This substitute didn’t like the jokes and pranks the class played and was very serious at the fact that they weren’t serious about their school work. Right from the beginning, Nakatsu was being stared upon by Kitahama because he stood up to him regarding the prank and his inability to laugh at it (notice, I’m eluding to something).
Later in the day, all three dorms started to come up with ideas for the live after test celebration while Mizuki and Nakatsu went to study for the exams. Nakatsu tried to get very close to Mizuki, telling her skinship is important. I think he just wants to rape her though. Sano came into the room when Nakatsu was putting his arm around her and seemed very jealous. He walked past the desk and pointed out that two of Nakatsu’s answers were wrong. He ended up helping the two study while Nakatsu started to fall asleep. Remembering what Nakatsu had said to him regarding his love for Mizuki, he flicks him on the forehead, only for him to sleep again.
During the test, a piece of paper flies under Nakatsu’s test and Kitahama puts him under “suspicion” of cheating. They plan to deal with the issue after the test, but Kitahama tries to refuse. When Nakatsu comes back into the classroom, Sano presents him with a science report he put together to help him study. Overwhelmed with emotions, Nakatsu asks to cry on Sano’s shoulder. Sano refuses, but Nakatsu states it’s too late and cries anyway.
Back in the student disciplinary room, Kitahama remembers the time where his younger brother was stabbed to death in a club after getting into an arguement. Umeda appears and greets the teacher and grabs his ass to Kitahama’s dismay. (“I… Don’t have that kind of hobby”)
Elsewhere, all three dorms are practicing for the festival. Dorm one: Matsui Hideki (Baseball), Dorm three: Mr. Bear (Singing), Dorm two: came up with some rollerblading singing act, an american rap act, and a Rock n’ Roll act. Man was it so gay and random. And someone was doing an Evangelion cosplay, LMAO. That was even better than the Gundam cosplays they did before. I couldn’t catch it before, so someone tell me who it was. (12:48)
Again, the two study in Sano’s room and while Mitsuki has her eyes closed, listening to a CD, Shuichi keeps thinking of how if he pushes Mitsuki, she’ll love him too. (still think’s she’s a guy) — Shuichi goes into a self cheering squad, saying “Ike Ike Go! Go! Ore Go! Go!” While he’s doing this, Sano is standing in the doorway watching him like he’s some psycho. When he makes his move, Sano goes up to him and punches him in the back, thus making him faint. Panicking, he closes the door and drags him to the floor and tells Mitsuki he’s just sleeping while he twitches. This was probably a highlight in Sano x Nakatsu moments. Probably on par with last episode’s.
Practices officially begin with Dorm 1’s “Festival”. Kitahama stops the practice, calling it stupid and tells all the students to stop playing around. They should be studying instead. Then, Dorm two’s “Mr. Bear in the Forest” goes on stage. It has a funny twitching bear, probably so idiotic, it puts dorm two’s to shame.
Back in the infirmary, the camera lady (forgot name again, sorry) asks why the live had been canceled and Umeda hits her on the head with a folder. She gives him a kiss, he falls over, gets back up, and makes a cool pose.
Back in class, the students are fighting over an electric guitar. Seeing this, Kitahama throws the guitar out of the window. After class, Sano and Nakatsu talk while Mitsuki overhears how Kitahama told Nakatsu to just admit he did it, or else he’d be taken out of the soccer team and be unable to play at next week’s game (distric preliminary).
When Nanba and Sekime (called Kamome accidently this time — I feel bad for Sekime, always called random things) come out of the door, waiting to be greeted by a group of cheering girls, they find that no one is outside. That is because Kitahama was getting rid of everything that would distract the students. Sekime reminds me of You from GacktJOB. Their hairstyle is reminiscent of the Redemption era. Anyone else think so?
While Nakatsu decided to admit his wrongdoing (althought he did nothing), Mizuki ran in trying to defend him. Kitahama, remembering what had happened to his brother told her to take her clothes off. He was afraid she had a knife on her. Wanting to defend Mizuki, Nakatsu grabbed Kitahama by the collar, resulting in his suspension (assaulting a teacher).
After what had happened, Mizuki sits dejected on a bench and notices Sano watching her. Sano comes to join her and tells her if it wasn’t her, he would have done the same thing. He consoles her, telling her to smile and then he puts his arms around her and rests her head on his shoulder. Sano pats her head and tells her not to take it to heart. Mizuki looked very confused as if she were wondering if this was correct to let him console her like that, while Sano looked embarressed as if he did not know how he felt about her (he knows she’s a girl in case anyone forgot).
The camerawoman tells Sano about Kitahama’s past (her classmate) and his brother. The whole school, in groups, come to confront Kitahama. The Sakura Committee (Student Council) leads them to the room and tells Kitahama that if he doesn’t take back the suspension, then everyone in the school will resign. Kitahama tells Nanba he did nothing wrong and he’s just trying to help them not stray. Sano, now knowing Kitahama’s past tells him that “we are not your brothers”. Upon hearing his, he leaves the room, quickly saying he belived what Nakatsu had said. Outside, Kitahama explains to Sano and and Mitsuki what had happened. How his little brother had formed a band, ignoring Kitahama’s opposition. While performing in the band, he was drawn in a fight and stabbed.
After Kitahama leaves, the two sit on a bench. Mizuki was about to tell Nakatsu what had happened when Sano grabbed her hand and told her to stay a little longer. Both Sano and Mizuki looked embaressed, but in different ways. Mizuki looked embaressed because she has feelings for him and he had touched her hand (probably), while Sano was embaressed because he acted on instict and din’t know what she would think by his actions. The two then went quiet and Sano used practice as a reason to leave suddenly. He then told Mizuki to do her best at the live show. She was overjoyed at the fact that he had called her by her name, because he had never done so before. Sano looked even more embaressed, saying that. It’s as if he’s trying to take a step further in their relationship.
In the live show, Dorm 2 performed Ikenai Taiyou with Kitahama and Umeda watching. Sano got dragged on stage by Nakatsu and he looked so scared being on stage. They sucked, but oh well. Umeda again grabbed Kitahama’s butt, but this time, he looked like he enjoyed it. He was smiling! Poor Umeda is making everyone gay.
Kagurazaka asks Sano to join his training camp as he comes back from training, and we do not get to see his reply yet. Elsewhere in the dorm, Nakatsu uses his magic ruler to break into the shower room and get shampoo as Mizuki is taking a shower. Nakatsu then realizes that she’s a girl!
The ending with the three promoting the ending theme single was pretty funny. Sano is really cute when he smiles, even if he has crooked teeth. In the preview, you see everyone dancing, and Mizuki and Nakatsu are dancing partners! Sano also confronts his father (I think that’s how you would translate “Oyaji”, right? Or is that old man?) At the end, Mizuki is wearing a dress and Nakatsu says “Omae ga suki da” – probably translates to “I like you”. Sano is also in the same room, looking very dejected. There is also a part with Kagurazka and Sano, with Sano looking very mad as if he wanted to beat himself up. It probably has to do with his brother and the camp that he had joined.
In other news, I got Ikenai Taiyou! It’s a wonderful song, so upbeat and smooth. I’ll post more on it when I have time. If you haven’t listened to it yet, go listen to it now:

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Episode 8
It’s so fun when Mizuki and Sano bicker about random things. When Nakatsu went to class with Mizuki, he had his hand on her shoulder. Sano, knowing that she’s a girl went all crazy and told her to not let people put their hands on her shoulder. She didn’t hear and thought he was just in a bad mood and asked him if he was on his period. Haha, and I thought the eyeball thing was the best they had.
So four people were picked for a photoshoot, 2nd dorm head (sorry, forgot the name), Sano, Nakatsu, and Mizuki. Sano got so scared that they would have to go nude (more specifically, Mizuki), he took back his withdrawal from the photoshoot. He looked so embaressed. Then when Sano went to wake Mizuki up, Mizuki’s shirt was up and her stomach was visible. Man, Sano is really trying to cover for Mizuki and keep her secret from coming out.
When they were at the photoshoot, Mizuki and Nakatsu went all out doing this Romeo and Juliet impression, too bad Sano ruined the funny moment. Then what was up with the lady? It was like, scream, then laugh!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes, it was scary. It was like one of those personality disorders where people all of a sudden laugh, then cry, then go hyper again. When Mizuki was doing her photoshoot, she saw Sano playing around with the dolls. It made her happy and Sano was so happy seeing her happy. Unfortunately, Nakatsu thought she was smiling at him and they started taking pictures with her. Sano was so dejected, made me kind of sad. Then, when it was his turn to take photos, man was he cool, even though the sleeves were too long for him. He’s definitely a model of some sort.
The first dorm’s hand movements thing made me laugh so much. I mean, how do you get “screening for the good and taking out the bad” from this hand movement going back and forth? It almost looked kind of sexual, haha! That reminded me of Noah for a minute or two, although, Noah’s hand movements are always sexual.
“Are you ready to accept men?”
Nakatsu thinks Sano is also gay since he’s going after Mizuki and was about to ask him about it when Sano just ran away. Nakatsu, in the next episode should find out that she’s a girl, or else I won’t be happy at all. They’ve been sort of dragging it, so I hope he’ll find out soon. It’s no fun without drama, but the fun mood is good too. What was up with the students with their shirts half cut off and chanting? Were they that happy to get back into class. That was pretty funny. The last funny “gay” thing was when Nakatsu finally told Sano that he liked Mizuki and he wasn’t going to lose to him. Does he really think Sano is gay? Man, the next ep will be good.
Hottie Relief Fund
“Hotties are Japan’s assets” / “What’s a hottie?”
Man, all the old people who have parts in the series are so funny! And why do they all look like farmers? It’d odd and funny all the same. I wonder why there’s farmers next to the school.
I’m starting to think that after that kiss from Sano, Kagurazaka became gay. When he heard from Mizuki that Sano had a spread in An An, he went and bought one and wouldn’t give it up.
This theme song by Orange Range is called ikenai taiyou. I’m definitely taking the time to download it tommorrow. It’s so addicting. If anyone could give me a download, you’d be like a hero to me. I wouldn’t even mind the video, even though it’s kind of weird, as with all Orange Range videos. NANANANANANANANANANANA!
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Episode 7
Kagurazaka x Sano? Man, it was hilarious when they kissed. Go Kissing Monster! Kagurazaka looked so shocked, I don’t think he’ll ever be visiting Sano’s dorm ever again. After Sano fell asleep, Mizuki fell asleep in Sano’s bed and Nakatsu walked in. Man, he looked so sad, I sort of feel bad for him. Although, he sort of mistook it. On the contrary, Sano took it just fine. He found it pretty annoying though, to have someone pin his arm down.
Homigosh, this delayed star festival was hilarious. Those two dorm heads saying, “baby come back” and doing those funny hand motions reminds me of Ouran once again. So funny! The first and second tests were pretty much fear tests and the last was just a room full of babes. It was somewhat unanticipated and funny. Also kind of disturbing if you think about it. In the end, the only one to have made it was Nakatsu. It was hilarious how he pulled out that piece of cloth with the eyes drawn on it. The eyes drawn were one of those cute sparkly ones in Ouran.
Again, Nakatsu got pwned by Sano at the end of the episode. Nakatsu went to stop Mizuki from going into the cab but was failing and just when he said, “he may have already jumped” Sano walked in and said, “I haven’t jumped yet. I haven’t jumped in front of you; in front of the official stage.” Man, that was such a sweet moment. Nakatsu sort of ruined it for me though. It would have been better if Sano was the one to have gone looking for her in the first place, but he’s sticking to his cool character, which is a good think I suppose.
Sorry for all the pointless posts lately. I just feel like talking about randomness today.
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Episode 6
I must say, even though this series doesn’t have a lot of corny lines and scenes, it really makes me want to cry. In this episode, you really start to see Sano opening up a lot more and caring for Mizuki not as just a friend, but something much deeper than that. He’s finally come to realize how far she’s had to go and how far she’s suffered for him. I can start to see Sano and Mizuki develope a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, but then there’s Shuichi in the way. I don’t know why he hasn’t realized she’s a girl yet. It’s so obvious, it makes me want to scream at him.
Even before that you see how much Sano wants to make Mizuki happy. When Mizuki runs out of the arch, she yelled at Sano something along the lines of “Why didn’t you tell me you were going to jump? I wanted to see you jump!”, and he replied, (not a quote) “Because I wanted you to see me jump at the national standard.” That’s pretty touching, right? I would have cried if I were her. No, I would have been bawling if I were her.
The last scene with Mizuki and Sano hugging was anticipated. I mean, you got to have the heroine cry at least once in front of the hero and have the hero hug the heroine. I wonder what Shuichi will do. He looked pretty fired up, almost ready to punch Sano in the face!
Also, the psychic guy that looks like Takanori Nishikawa is named Yamamoto Yusuke. He really does look like Takanori. D:
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Episode 5
Forget what I said about the most touching part in the series in my last post. Sano going down on his knees and begging the track members for another chance was the most touching. You take a guy who doesn’t care about anyone else and you make him become so sincere, it makes you want to cry. The only reason he would beg them was for Ashiya. He really wants to make her dream come true. That’s so sweet and touching all the same. For once, they didn’t make such a scene corny at all! Usually, when you have scenes like that, where the Sano knows Ashiya is there watching, they usually have someone like Ashiya cry out “GANBARE!”, but they didn’t. It made the scene even sadder because Sano didn’t make the mark. He just stares back at her and he seems like he’s going to cry. I think this will end up making me cry even more than Devil Beside You.
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e
So last night (or maybe around 6, but I finished around 1 in the morning) I started another drama series, since Tantei Gakuen Q hasn’t had any new english subs. I already watched the chinese subs (so many new developements!) but I don’t understand them.
I got up to episode 4 and man is this an addicting series. It’s a lot like that one movie where this girl dresses up as a guy and goes to an all boys school (what is that movie called again? I think it starred Amanda Bynes). I’m not sure how the movie goes, so don’t quote me on anything.
So the girl, Ashiya Mizuki had idolized Sano Izumi, this high jumper, for the longest time ever, and when Sano was missing from this competition, she decided to join his school and make him jump again. She, unfortunately lives in Ameria, and he goes to an all boys school. So against her parent’s wills, she goes to the school, dressed as a boy. She goes through a lot of funny situations that finally earn her the trust of Sano.
The funniest thing I found was when Ashiya got her foot poked with spikes. Man, how do you get poked liked that and start bleeding THAT MUCH? That’s how you know it’s definitely a drama. Then, she only stopped because she fell down, and she started crying. That was really sad and made me tear up a bit. Especially when Sano ran to her and picked her up. That was probably one of the most sweetest parts that I’ve gotten to.
Another funny part is well, every part with Nakatsu Shuichi (Ikuta Toma) in it. He falls in love with Ashiya, not knowing that she’s a girl, so of course, he thinks he’s a homo. Nakatsu keeps trying to prove to himself he’s not a homo but fails at doing so. At one point, he even puts underwear on top of this head and wears a bra because he thought he finally had a breakthrough. Man, that was pretty funny, especially since he was dancing on a table and everyone walked in on him.
The school is supposed to be a school that judges students on their looks, but man, there aren’t a lot of cute guys. Sano looks okay at several angles, but head on, not so much. The psyhic guy looks like TM Revolution (Nishikawa Takanori). Surprisingly, I recognized that Kagurazaka Makoto was played by Shirota Yuu, the same guy that played the captain in the live Prince of Tennis movie. Other than that, everyone else, especially the people in dorms one and three are super ugly, XD.
Even though the guys aren’t that cute looking except for Ashiya (she’s a girl though! D:) and Kagurazaka (drools), Sano is actually a pretty cool character. He’s always saving Ashiya’s hide and doing things that make one think, “man, if only I had a brother like him.” The best part about his character is when he’s drunk. When he’s drunk, he becomes a kissing monster and kisses anyone in sight. Supposedly, everyone in all three dorms had at one time fallen victim to him and was kissed by him. That was a very funny part, especially since Sano gets all happy and crazy when he’s drunk.
Sano is played by Oguri Shun, this rather weird looking guy. He reminds me a lot of Yukihiro of L’Arc~en~Ciel. If one would just look at their face, they’re actually very much alike! They both have that same face build, it’s just their eyebrows and hair that’s different. Maybe age too, but it’s only about 10 yrs apart!

Tantei Gakuen Q Episode 9
Ryuu + Megu = A very adorable couple.
The part where Megu was feeding Ryuu was so cute, I started laughing out loud. Then Kazuma and the other two ruined their cute moment, but Ryuu’s reaction was PRICELESS.
I haven’t been able to get the English subs for awhile now, so I ended up watching episode nine with Chinese subs. It was painful, because I didn’t know what the crap they were saying. Although, in the first part, I sort of understood that Renjou was the old man that instigated Kyuu’s (Q) interest in being a detective before all the cute flashbacks with magic tricks! The little kid who plays Kyuu is so cute! Especially when he was being saved and said, “Tantei?” in this cute voice.
Then I started to wonder, what kind of parents did Kyuu have? Hadn’t he ever learned to not talk to strangers? He could’ve been raped that cute kid.
Then I heard “boku no” and “Shichi” in the same sentence when Kyuu was talking with that white lady. I nearly went crazy. I’m pretty sure she was saying that Renjou was Kyuu’s dad. What?! Big plot twist. I wonder what happened in that crazy family. Did Renjou separate with Kyuu so that he wouldn’t get caught in his job? Is that why Kyuu was kidnapped and Renjou fought his way to save him? Then in later parts, Kyuu says, “Renjou-san wa, boku no Tousan…” so I’m very excited to find out if it’s true. I also have a feeling the white lady was Renjou’s wife or something of the sort. Maybe that’s why she’s explaining so many things to Kyuu and knows that Renjou was Kyuu’s dad.
That white lady is very creepy as well. She just went up and disappeared into thin air. I wonder what her skill is. Creepiness? I also noticed that people pop out of nowhere all the time. When Ryuu was having his little emo moment, the whole gang except Kyuu popped out even though they weren’t in the scenes before. I think my whole image of Ryuu being a cool emo kid with an ego has disappeared and is passing onto Kyuu.
I’ve noticed also that all the police/guards in the series are stupid. Cerebus (pronounced: Kerebus) easily got the guard to take off his cuffs just by making his hand “bleed”. Turns out, it was just ketchup. The actor who plays Cerebus is also good at performing alter-egos. Too bad “he” got pwned by Nanami’s hat throw. I must say, Nanami not only dresses cool, he’s well, cool. So it turns out, Cerebus was himself the whole time and pulled a fast one, twice actually, on everyone.
Then, Kyuu all of a sudden picks up a knife and is about to kill the white lady. WHO HOLDS A KNIFE LIKE THAT? YOU AREN’T GOING TO KILL ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I almost wanted to yell at Kyuu and tell him to hurry it up. Then, Ryuu beats Kyuu up and so Ryuu gets his cool emo kid ego back. Ryuu even gave Kyuu a freakin’ bruise. It was huge. I think the make-up people could have been a little more subtle about it.
Preview: All I see is, Megu gets raped by some ugly-ass guy and they mention Ryuu’s name (Amakusa Ryuu) and Megu gets all sad. Ryuu is also acting a lot emo-er than before, wearing all black. I wonder if he’s reverting back to his old ways.
