So lately,

without comments

I’ve been in a very bad mood about everything. Even the smallest little thing got me really ticked off and I ended up snapping at a few people without even realizing it.

Let me start with German. So we had a quiz on section two on Wednesday, and apparently, no one studied. Everyone kept asking what “bush” and “poverty” were, and that really pissed me off since 1) they should have studied since Mr. Platt told us we were going to have a quiz and 2) since we were taking a quiz, they shouldn’t have been talking. The only person nearest me that was complaining about how they didn’t know any of the stuff was Melissa, and because she asked about seven times what most of the stuff was, I ended up saying something along the lines of, “Mel, you should have studied. All of this vocab was in the book”. I said it in a really mean way though, so I feel really bad about it. I hope she did well though. We had an extra day to finish it afterall >3<;;

Christy. What about her does NOT piss me off? Well, I think that’s a rhetorical question? I didn’t get that paper… anyways. So on Wednesday, we had a home meet against Pomona. For some reason, Jesus’ parents were there, so Christy was freaking out before our race. I seriously had to listen to her complain to Tammy about how she was so nervous about them being there for about half an hour before the actual race. So as usual, she came in last, and blah blah blah, the usual. Tammy was in the first scoring heat, and she came in dead last, which was really bad, and she usually does a lot better. After though, Tammy seemed really depressed, so I went and talked to her. Then, I heard the most OUTRAGEOUS thing ever. Before the race, Christy had actually bribed Tammy to lose to her so she could look good in front of Jesus’ parents. How low is that? To ask someone to lose a race so she could look better? And how would even winning a race make her look better? If anyone ever had doubts regarding her low intelligence, I think that would just about cement it. The worst part was, she even asked Katie (Okay, I admit that I don’t know how to spell her name, but I think her full name is Katyln..) and was going to ask me. No one ended up taking her bribe and she never asked me because according to Tammy, she knew that I hated her and that I probably wouldn’t take it anyways. So that had me really pissed off and I was going to talk to her about it, but I ended up doing Mel’s outline with Daniel.

I also forgot to announce Michelle’s birthday! It’s a little late, but…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE! <3

May your following year be filled with happiness and good fortune.

People

Why must it be so hard to understand people? It is not as if I don’t want to understand. I really do. It is as if they themselves don’t want to open up. Why must they always try to lock themselves up? Why must they always push me away when I try to knock at the door?

Cougar Classics

It was tiring. It was cold. It was wet.

That pretty much sums up the day. We got to Azusa Pacific University a little past 7:30 and the sky was so grey and gloomy. We got up to the stands and just sat there for about an hour until the actual meet started at 8:30. The whole time, Vivian, Morgen, Brian and I were putting in our rubber spikes. I had opened my new pack of spikes and put them all in, when the announcer announced that the spikes had to be a certain type, so I took out all of my new ones and got these crappy spikes that half didn’t fit in my shoe. However, the spikes were a bit thicker than my 1/18 ones, so that was a good thing. However, when I was screwing them in a bit tighter, I kept hitting my face, and one of the spikes took out a chunk of my right thumb. Anyways, that was a good time killer until my 110 HH race at 10:45. By now, it was giving a good sprinkle. It was so cold, I kept having to slap myself in order to keep warm. Worst of all, I kept feeling like I couldn’t jump over it. But I ended up doing all right, 4th place in heat 2 for Frosh/Soph! (Place 11/14 overall — lane 8 aka the worst lane everrr by the way) There was a chance for me to be 5th, but Vivian fell and so I got my place. My time was 26.67, and if I’m not mistaken, my time last year was a border 28? So I suppose I have improved. Right after this, I went and bought a JUMBO chili cheese dog. Man, that thing was so good, but the chilli was nasty after awhile. So by now, it was around 11, so I really had to go to the bathroom. All there was around the stadium was only the portable toilets, so I didn’t feel like going until my event at 1:40. However, Melissa told me that she just went to the dorms and went to a REAL bathroom in there. So I went by myself to try to find it first, then dragged Vivian along. We ended up not finding it and chickened out before we could go into the dorms themselves. When we got back, we ran into (okay, I admit it, I forgot her name) and hung out in front of the potables for about 15 minutes when Daniel Cedeno came along and said he had to take a dump. For about 12 minutes (that’s how long Daniel was in there, we were so bored.. okay?!) we just stood there outside like idiots. We shook Daniel’s portapotty and threw tape at it ’cause he was taking so long. Then we wondered how horriblt it would be if the thing actually tipped over with him in it. D: When he FINALLY came out, Brian came from the stands, and we decided to find the real bathrooms because we all had to go by now. Vivian ended up asking people and we FOUND REAL BATHROOMS! It was in the Wilson dorms, and man those must have been cool places to live in. They had couches, vending machine, and everything! When we got back, the 800’s were already starting, so we took a VERY long time there. I saw that Nikki and Riva were already down there “warming up” so I took my stuff and ran across to the field. When I got there… they were up in the stands again! That was very silly of me. :] When the 800’s ended, we were about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. We got to the 100 starting line and got our heats and to my surprise, I got placed in the first heat with all the fast people >:[. I ended up being last, and by 1 second! (I think my time was 1:27) so I'm quite happy with myself. My hip started to hurt after this one for some weird reason. It was this stabbing sort of pain, but I ran it off with Sarena and Shereen when I warmed up with them. There was a surprising thing that happened next. BRIAN GOT 2ND RIGHT BEHIND GEO IN HIS RACE! :O I was very surprised that Brian was that good. So congrats to him! :] We ended up waiting together for Shereen and Sarena to run their 200 so I could give Shereen her pants back and get my shoes from Shereen. We waited for about 20 minutes, during which Brian got this cheap cup of coffee and I ate about two packets of brown sugar.  Sarena did fairly well, and for some reason, I never saw Shereen run with frosh/soph. After a while, we realized that she got put in Varsity! :O She got last, but she wasn’t all that far behind. So good job Shereen! (and you know my shoes helped. ;DD). By now, it was STILL raining, so we just went back to the stands and just did whatever. Soon after, Sarena, Shereen, and Morgen left with Steven to go eat pho. I was going to go too, but I felt like staying, so I stayed. I went and talked to Richard about his problems for about an hour. Some pretty interesting things were said, espcially when Kyle joined in on the conversation. I even found out what Kyle REALLY wanted for his birthday, and I think it’s a nice, yet sad wish at the same time. Richard then left to help at the snack bar, so I just sat around for awhile and decided to go and help out at the snack bar too. I didn’t do much except stand around and got chicken strips for it. Yay me! I should have helped out more, but that’s okay. It was pretty much closing already anyway. After this, I just watched the races for about two more hours, and I got so soaked! My hair was completely wet because I didn’t have a hood, and my jacket turned about two shades darker. When we got on the car, man was it hot in there! Martin sat in front of me and smelled like onions, so that wasn’t a very pleasant ride. We also kept writing “Brandon & Yvonne. Forever & ever & ever & ever” on the windows. That was funnn~ So that’s about the end of track. Overall, an interesting and fun day! I just wish it was toward the end of the year more so I could have prepared a little better for it.

Sorry for how it’s all jumbled up. I’m still tirded out from having been away all day.
